Joan Manel Peña Memorial Scholarship
July 12, 2021 10:29 amThe Esade Alumni Health and Pharma Club wants to promote talent by raising €24,900 so that an excellent student can enrol in Esade’s Executive Master in Healthcare Organisations Leadership during the 2021-2022 academic year.
The shows of solidarity we have witnessed throughout the pandemic have given us hope that together we can alleviate the effects of the crisis and its possible impact on the Scholarship Programme, which gives excellent students with limited economic resources the chance to study in Esade’s classrooms.
The Esade Alumni Health and Pharma Club, in collaboration with the Esade Alumni Senior Club, want to do their part to promote talent. They have set out to raise €24,900 so that an excellent student can have the chance to enrol in Esade’s Executive Master in Healthcare Organisations Leadership during the 2021-2022 academic year.
This is their way of paying tribute to our dear colleague Joan Manel Peña (Lic&MBA ‘71), who died of COVID-19 in January 2021. Joan Manel was a board member of the Esade Alumni Health and Pharma Club and president of the Esade Alumni Senior Club.
Joan Manel spent much of his professional life in the health sector. This proposal is intended to honour his career and his role in developing and fostering collaboration in both clubs.
With your donation, and those of any other individuals and organisations that wish to join us in this endeavour, next year we will proudly be able to continue providing scholarships to brilliant students who otherwise would not be able to afford an Esade education – which would mean missing out on the positive impact that these future leaders could have on society.
The Esade Alumni Health and Pharma Club and the Esade Alumni Senior Club support this initiative and encourage you to donate whatever you can. We are certain that Joan Manel Peña would have been incredibly proud.
El Club Salud y Farma y el Club Senior Esade Alumni apoyan esta iniciativa y te animan a colaborar en una recaudación de la que, estamos seguros, Joan Manel Peña se sentiría absolutamente orgulloso.
